Visit our Grimsby showroom on Victoria Street to browse our extensive ranges.
We advise on what's right for your space and budget, not what we want to sell you.
Whether you're looking at carpets, LVT, vinyl, real wood or something specialist, our team will guide you through every option.
Returning customers are always welcome to call ahead, we'll have your measurements ready so you can come in and browse at your own pace.

Measure & Quote
We carry out a full site survey, everything from a 5-minute bedroom visit to a detailed floor plan for a full downstairs installation.
We check subfloor conditions, carry out tests on new builds, and take precise measurements.
Your quote will include a breakdown of the materials and processes involved from preparation to installation, so you'll know exactly what you're getting and what you're paying before you commit to anything.
We can carry out moisture tests to ensure your flooring is laid on a properly prepared surface.

Expert Installation
A 50% deposit to order materials, then we agree on a date that suits you.
All installation is carried out by our own team, no strangers turning up at your door.
You don't pay the balance until the fitters have finished and you're completely satisfied.
All works are fully guaranteed by Allenby Stevenson. No chasing strangers if something's wrong.

Aftercare & Guarantee
Our 2-year installation guarantee is twice the industry standard of 12 months.
You'll receive care and maintenance instructions and, with certain floors, a cleaning kit relevant to your flooring.
If you ever have any issues, even years down the line, call us. We can help you work through all of your options to find the best solution or outcome. We've never walked away from any customer.
We're not just here to fit your floor, get paid, and move on. We want you to want to come back for your next floor too.

Getting Started
What are your opening hours?
We're open Monday to Saturday, 9am to 5pm. We're closed Sundays. On Bank Holiday Mondays we open from 11am to 4pm. Hours over Christmas and Easter are updated each year, check back here or give us a call if you're not sure.

We're at 83–85 Victoria Street, Grimsby, DN31 1NH, with free customer parking and disabled access available onsite.
Do I need an appointment to visit the showroom?
No appointment needed, just come in. Our Victoria Street showroom is open Monday to Saturday, 9am to 5pm, and you're welcome to browse at your own pace. If you'd like a specific member of the team to be available when you visit, a quick call ahead is helpful but not essential.

Returning customers are always welcome to call ahead so we can have your previous measurements ready. It saves time and means you can come in and make decisions without waiting around.
How far do you travel for installations?
We're based in Grimsby and comfortably cover the whole of North East Lincolnshire, including Cleethorpes, Immingham, Humberston, New Waltham, Waltham, Healing, Louth, Brigg and the surrounding area. As a general rule, within 30 miles of Grimsby we'll always come out without hesitation.
If you're outside our usual area, just call us and we'll tell you straight whether we can help.
Are you really a local, independent business?
Yes, genuinely. Allenby Stevenson has been family-run since 1966. Jonathon Stevenson, whose father John co-founded the business, still runs the showroom today. We're not a franchise, we're not a chain, and we don't answer to shareholders. Every decision is made by people who work here and care about the outcome.
